The Richmond Village Board is slated to discuss the village tax levy and an intergovernmental agreement for the McHenry County Gang Task Force at its regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
One of the first items on the agenda is a review of the top fives tasks from the Nov. 24 meeting, followed by the authorization and approval of a purchasing agreement, which will be signed by the Village president. A check will be presented for the amount of $650 for the acquisition of property. The board also will vote on approving a community food pantry for Richmond & Spring Grove, Inc., agreement for lease.
New business will be discussed after public comments.
Among the items up for discussion is an ordinance for the levy of taxes for the village in 2015, approval of an intergovernmental agreement for McHenry County Gang Task Force and approval of an auditing services proposal, which will be conducted by Eder, Casella & Co. for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Under the committee departments, the Community Development Committee will meet to review and approve several items, including a welcome sign application and artwork; a variance on ground signs for L&L Storage; a variance for Panino’s Sign; and window signs, in addition to door signs for Revived Creations.
