Lake in the Hills is seeking bids for impact surface installation at its playgrounds.
The request is for installing approximately 665 cubic yards of impact material consisting of engineered wood fiber or other surface material at all playground sites within the village, which totals 19 locations.
Five companies have expressed interest for this bid and have added themselves to the planholder list. The companies are in Cincinnati, Chicago and Long Grove, Illinois; Newtown, Pennsylvania; and Herndon, Virginia.
The Public Works Department will select the bid that best serves the village and suits budgetary requirements.
Proposals should be submitted by 10 a.m. March 9 to the Public Works Department. Proposals should be sent to Scott Parchutz, 9010 Haligus Road, Lake in the Hills, IL 60156.
