Lake in the Hills trustees sign off on $1 million in bills

The Lake in the Hills Board of Trustees approved the payment of $209,683 in bills during its meeting on Tuesday.

The payments came out of the Village General Fund, the Motor Fuel Fund, the operational and maintenance (O&M) funds for the airport and water system, the Health Insurance Fund, and funds for special service areas two and three.

The board also approved paying $803,139 in manual bills out of the Debt Service Fund, the General Fund, the Airport and Water O&M funds, and the Health Insurance Fund. 

A video gaming license for the Lake in the Hills Property Owners Association and a raffle license to Lake in the Hills American Legion Post #1231 also were discussed. 

In addition, members of the board heard a motion to waive the competitive bidding process and authorize the purchase of four Ford Utility Interceptor AWD police package squads from Currie Motors under the current SPC Contract for $108,032.

Finally, a public hearing date scheduled for March 14 in front of the Planning and Zoning Commission for text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance also was discussed.
