The Richmond Village Board Finance Committee is reviewing the proposed Police Department budget.

The Richmond Village Board Finance Committee considered the Police Department's proposed budget for fiscal year 2017 at its Feb. 16 meeting.

After Police Chief Ciro Cetrangolo presented the department's proposed budget, committee members made minor adjustments and noted it would be reviewing the budget at a later date as it becomes more complete.

Village police commissioners were at the meeting to provide additional information on wages for police personnel.

The committee also heard from Finance Clerk Seresa Stout, who presented information regarding general revenue, audits, liability insurance, sales tax bonds and other financial issues.

Members of the committee also reviewed invoices that were to be added to the list of bills that will be considered by the full Village Board.
