The Crystal Lake City Council is scheduled to discuss several requests concerning the Quarry Cable Park and Grille at its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Within the consent agenda for this meeting there are five items that are needing approval for the establishment. The location is owned by
Copley McGinnis Group LLC, which owns Quarry Cable Park and Grille at 5517 Northwest Highway, is requesting the establishment of the facility’s hours of operation, a name change to the 43Tap & Grille, an amendment to the restaurant's property-use agreement and its concessionaire and a request for a Class 6 liquor license, which would be the first license of this kind to be established in the city.
Copley McGinnis Group also is requesting approval to use the Three Oaks Recreation Area to host an event that would be taking place on June 25 and a later opening celebration on July 16.
The council is also set to consider a no-wake restriction waiver request from the Crystal Lake Water Ski Association in relation to a Slalom Tournament scheduled for July 17.
