Marengo has approved updates to its zoning map.
The Marengo City Council voted to approve an updated zoning map and other items during its meeting on Monday, March 14.
The approval of the new zoning map was listed as a consent agenda item. The current zoning map that is available on the Marengo website is dated for 2014.
The council also discussed a request to amend a portion of liquor control and licensing ordinance that related to the application fee and a request to discuss the development of the 2016-2017 budget and review a draft budget.
The council also considered an ordinance to vacate Pulse Lane in line with an annexation agreement that had been reached between the city and J.J. Carlino and Kevin McCarthy Jr. in 1998.
