Reick pulls away from Lichte in 63rd House District Republican showdown

Steven Reick led Jeffrey Lichte in the March 15 Illinois House Republican primary for District 63 with 44 percent of the districts reporting.

Reick has earned 8,511 votes to Lichte's 5,903 so far.

In the Republican Presidential primary, Donald Trump led the pack with  21,425 votes in McHenry County. For the Democrats, Bernie Sanders earned  20,093 votes.

Mark Kirk earned approximately 64 percent of the vote in the Republican Senate primary in McHenry County, beating James Marter’s 36 percent. For the Democrats, incumbent Rep. Tammy Duckworth had a commanding lead of about 74 percent in McHenry County, defeating challengers Andrea Zopp (18 percent) and Napoleon Harris (about 8 percent).
