Lake in the Hills is seeking bids for two fuel storage tanks.

Lake in the Hills is seeking bids for two fuel storage tanks.

The Lake in the Hills Public Works Department recently issued a request for proposals for above ground fuel storage tanks.

The notice states that the village will need a minimum of two storage tanks that have a capacity of at least 2,500 gallons. Those offering proposals are expected to maintain workmanship, design and utilize materials that are new and in line with industry best practices.

The notice also states that equipment furnished should be the latest stock models by respective bidders.

Proposals should be submitted or mailed to Guy Fehrman, 9010 Haligus Rd., Lake in the Hills, IL 60156 by 10 a.m. March 30.

Prospective bidders may view the full details of this bid at the bidding website of the village. Those businesses that add themselves to the plan holder list will be granted access to the full request and detailed specifications.

There are currently eight companies on the plan holder list, with five of these located in Illinois: Elk Grove Village, Plainfield, Westchester, Lyons and North Aurora.
