The McHenry County Joint Council of Historic Groups is scheduled to hold its spring meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the McHenry County Archives,15615 Nelson Rd., Woodstock, regarding the county’s new archives building and other matters.
The first portion of the meeting is to feature an overview of the new facility and a question and answer session with Bill Draths, the county records manager.
Following the session at the county archives building, the meeting will move to the Hartland Township Office to discuss other matters relating to normal operation of the joint council.
The joint council represents the different historical commissions and other municipal groups throughout the county. Each group will have the opportunity to present what their respective programs are and other items that are specific to each group.
The agenda for this meeting also states that the joint council members will be voting on the council’s bylaws.
