The McHenry County Stormwater Management Commission will meet at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the McHenry County Administration Building to consider two appointments to the commission.

The commission will be considering the appointment of Al Wilson as Woodstock’s primary representative to the panel and the appointment of Ross Polerecky as an alternate member for the city of McHenry.

Woodstock Mayor Brian Sager recently submitted a letter of resignation from the county’s stormwater commission. Sager had served on the commission since its inception in 2005. In his letter he recommended that Wilson, who serves as Woodstock city engineer, take his spot on the commission. Sager also said that this meeting will be his last as a commission member.

Regarding Polerecky’s appointment, a memo from McHenry Mayor Susan Low indicates that Polerecky should replacie Douglas Martin as the city’s representative. Polerecky serves as director of McHenry's Community Development Department.

This meeting will also consider reports on the adoption of the stormwater management ordinance. The commission will also be considering the approval of Wetland Restoration funding to be used by BHFW LLC.
