Evolution Basketball to begin training sessions

Evolution Basketball's second fall-training session will start Wednesday, Oct. 19, at The MAC athletic complex in Crystal Lake, according to www.themaccl.com.

The training session is for players in kindergarten through fifth grade. The sessions, which last an hour and start at 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m., will run through Nov. 16. The cost is $35 per player.

The Evolution program's program director and coach is Edward Pawlak, a former player and graduate assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. He also has coached feeder teams in Winnetka, at Sports Camps for America in northern Illinois and house leagues in Batavia, Villa Park and Elmhurst.

Evolution Basketball also will conduct a free open house from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. The event will allow attendees to ask questions of the coach and play games. Register at www.themaccl.com.
