Records show that in 2014, Kathleen A. Speaker, a teacher at Crystal Lake Central High School at 1 Virginia Road, received $142,200.11, the highest full adjusted pay among all teachers in the district.
Included in that amount was $32,003.11 in taxpayer-funded benefits, $14,098.15 in retirement benefits, and $17,904.96 in other benefits.
Overall, the total amount Crystal Lake CHSD 155 spent on its 50 highest-paid teachers in 2014 was $6,921,799.97.
