Unpaid fines for McHenry-based campaign committee totaled $225 in January 2017

One campaign committee in McHenry has overdue fines amounting to a total of $225, records obtained by the McHenry Times show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Illinois Gun Owners was the only campaign committee in McHenry that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Illinois Gun Owners has yet to pay was imposed on April 25, 2014, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $175.
