Analysis: Harvard pays $3.87 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Harvard Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.7 percent of the $686,907 the Harvard Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.87 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Harvard contributed $547,123 to the fund, which saw a $14,317 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $141,312, or 20.6 percent, in 2018.
