Over half of Belmont University’s undergraduate students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester. According to university officials, about 55% of the institution’s 6,934 undergraduates qualified for this recognition.
Dr. David Gregory, provost and executive vice president for academic excellence, commented on the achievement: “The high percentage of students earning Dean’s List honors reflects more than academic excellence, it reflects who we are becoming together as a Belmont community. This achievement demonstrates what is possible when students pursue their goals in an ambitious, supportive community committed to the flourishing of all. It speaks to the dedication of our students, the mentorship of our faculty and a shared commitment to wisdom.”
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete at least 12 credit hours and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher with no grade below a C.
Among those recognized are Zachary Mjaanes and Caleb Hogan, both from Cary (60013).
Belmont University is located near downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The university has nearly 9,000 students from every state and 33 countries. It offers over 115 undergraduate programs along with graduate degrees in various fields.
