City of Crystal Lake Planning and Zoning Commission will meet on March 18.

Here are the agenda provided by the commission:

1. Call to Order

2. Roll Call

3. Approve the minutes of the February 18, 2026 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting.

4. 2026-028 – 199 EDGEWATER DRIVE – VARIATION – PUBLIC HEARING

      Variation to allow a screened-in porch having a front-yard (lakeside) setback of 74.5 feet instead of the required 75.45 feet.

5. 2026-017 – 551 CRYSTAL POINTE DRIVE (McDONALD’S) – VARIATIONS – PUBLIC HEARING

      Variations for an eight-foot parking lot setback and a reduction in parking spaces to 39 instead of the required 53 spaces.

6. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT

      The public may address the commission on any item not on the commission’s agenda.

7. REPORT FROM PLANNING

      A summary of the previous petition outcomes and details of the upcoming items for this Commission.
