On Tuesday, March 3, at 5 p.m., Clara Hudgens, a former Huntley High School star, and her Coastal Carolina Chanticleers team were defeated 8-0 by the UNC Wilmington Seahawks in their NCAA Division I softball matchup.
Boseman Field served as the venue for the contest. This was the Chanticleers’ first meeting with the Seahawks this season.
Hudgens recorded 1 hit in 2 plate appearances.
Coastal Carolina is set to play again on Wednesday, March 4, at 4 p.m. at St. John Stadium against the Bowling Green Falcons.
