The Georgia State Panthers, featuring former Huntley High School standout Briana Bower, were defeated 3-1 by the Marshall Thundering Herd in an NCAA Division I softball contest on Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m.
The matchup, held at Bob Heck Softball Complex, marked the Panthers’ second meeting with the Thundering Herd this season. The previous game on Friday, March 13, ended with a 2-1 victory for Georgia State.
Bower contributed by pitching seven innings, tallying one walk and two strikeouts.
Georgia State’s next game is set for Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m. at the same venue against Marshall.
