Illinois HB2831 passed the state House on April 4.

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Michelle Mussman (D-56) on Feb. 14, will amend the Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act, according to the General Assembly website.

The measure now must be considered by the Senate.
