Former Dundee-Crown High School standout Isaac Santos Jr. took the mound for the Marian Sabres as they were defeated 12-2 in an NCAA Division III baseball matchup with the Millikin Big Blue on Friday, March 13, at 4 p.m.

The contest was held at Workman Family Baseball Field and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Santos Jr. pitched 4.1 innings, surrendering seven earned runs while walking one and striking out four batters.

The Sabres are set to play their next game at Workman Family Baseball Field against the Saint Mary’s Cardinals on Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m.
