At 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, Kadin Borck—a former McHenry High School standout—saw action as the Concordia Chicago Cougars were defeated 14-9 by the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys in NCAA Division III baseball play.
The game was held at Hunter Field and marked the third faceoff between the teams this season. In their meeting the day before, on Friday, March 13, the Cougars claimed a 13-9 win.
Borck threw one inning, allowing one earned run and striking out a batter.
The Cougars are set to play next on Thursday, March 19, at 5 p.m. at Lee Pfund Stadium against the Wheaton Thunder.
