1. CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at: 8:15am by Chairman Kearns. All members present except for Mr. Kunkle and Mr. Sager.

5.4 Resolution Providing for the Jurisdictional Transfer of Fleming Road (County Highway V25) from the County of McHenry to the Village of Bull Valley and the Greenwood Township Road District and Appropriating Funds (82)
On a motion from Skala, seconded by Von Bergen, item 5.4 was opened for discussion. Assistant Director of Transportation, Scott Hennings explained the jurisdictional transfer of Fleming Road from McHenry County to the Village of Bull Valley and Greenwood Township.

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Staff Recognition
Design Manager, Joyce DeLong introduced Keith McGraw as MCDOT’s newly promoted Permit Manager.
The Division of Transportation is excited to welcome Keith to this new role.
7. OLD BUSINESS
7.1 Staff Report
7.1.a Maplewood Access Road, Letter of Intent
Assistant County Engineer Darrell Kuntz and Assistant Director of Transportation Scott Hennings provided an explanation for a letter of intent received from the Village of Cary, requesting financial assistance from MCDOT for the village’s Maplewood Access Project. Discussion ensued. The Committee directed the County Engineer to sign the letter of intent.
7.2 Township Bridge Discussion
Assistant County Engineer Darrell Kuntz, Assistant Director of Transportation Scott Hennings and Senior GIS Analyst Kevin Kucharski presented to the committee a summary of Township bridges. Various Township Highway Commissioners were in attendance and expressed their concerns. Discussion ensued. In the end, the Committee directed staff to work with the Townships to revise the bridge assistance program and return to the Committee with recommendations.
8. EXECUTIVE SESSION (AS NECESSARY)
On a motion from Skala, seconded by Von Bergen that the Committee move into Executive Session at 10:08am to discuss meeting minutes and land acquisition.
On a motion from Skala, seconded by Von Bergen that the committee adjourn from Executive session and move to open session at 11:37am.

On a motion from Chairman Kearns, seconded by Kamienski, the Executive Session minutes from June 26, 2024, and April 30, 2025, were approved to be released in full and the Executive Session minutes from January 31, 2024, January 29, 2025, February 26, 2025, July 30, 2025, and August 27, 2025, were approved to be released with redactions.
