Former McHenry High School standout Maddi Friedle and the Ripon Red Hawks were narrowly defeated 68-65 by the Concordia Moorhead Cobbers on Saturday, March 7, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, played at Memorial Auditorium at 8 p.m., marked the Red Hawks’ first game against Concordia Moorhead in the tournament.
