Four resolutions and four ordinances are set to be voted on at the board meeting for the Village of Algonquin, Illinois, at 7:30 tonight.
The ordinances are part of an omnibus agenda and approval. Since they are considered common, or routine, nearly all of the ordinances and resolutions could pass with one motion or a roll call vote.
The pass ordinances include the approval of funds that will be levied for the 2015 real estate taxes; the approval of a special use permit extension for 202 N. Main St.; the approval of the Fox River Corridor Plan, which is part of Zoning and Commission’s Comprehensive Plan; and the declaration of surplus items from the village.
The resolutions include allowing Sigecom LLC the right-of-way-use in certain parts of town; approving
SNI Solutions to provide de-icing products to the village, which are not to exceed $24,600; authorization for an intergovernmental agreement with McHenry County for the McHenry County Gang Task Force; and an authorization for an intergovernmental agreement with McHenry County for the McHenry County S.W.A.T team.
The vote for these will be followed by a discussion of items that were removed from this omnibus agenda.
The meeting will be held at 2200 Harnish Drive.
