The Lake in the Hills Village Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Village Hall to discuss a request to waive lake permits and fees for an upcoming fishing derby.
Trustees will consider a motion to waive requirements for lake use permits, boat launching fees and daily fees for participants in the Jan. 30 fishing derby at Woods Creek Lake and Indian Trail Beach. The measure would only affect event participants.
The board will also consider approving a balancing change order in the contract with Arrow Road Construction Co. for the motor fuel tax 2015 road resurfacing project to make the final payment of $103,214.25 to the company for the completed project.
The Village Board will also be approving bills totaling $958,128.70 that include payments to the Health Insurance Fund, water and airport funds and the general fund.
