Fox River Grove has modified an agreement with Barrington Hills and QuadCom regarding a radio antenna.
The Fox River Grove Village Board voted March 3 to approve modifying an intergovernmental agreement with Barrington Hills and QuadCom regarding a radio antenna.
The meeting minutes state the existing agreement had been established between both municipalities to allow the radio antenna to be on top of the water tower in Fox River Grove. The board approved modifying that agreement to add QuadCom to serve as the main operator of the antenna on behalf of the village of Barrington.
Fox River Grove trustees also approved a motion to waive park and sound permit fees for the Veteran’s Picnic that will be taking place on June 29.
The board also approved waiving bids for the demolition of houses on the new public works site and awarded a contract for the project to Lake Julian. The minutes state the move would save the village approximately $24,000.
