The Fox River Grove Park Commission discussed the cost of removing a picnic grove concrete slab at its April 6 meeting.
The commission received concrete slab removal quotes from Hummel Construction for $11,500 (no restoration), Carlson & Son Construction for $19,200, Sinnett Excavating for $16,500 and Lake Julian Contracting for $9,000.
The commission also was scheduled to discuss Parks Cleanup Day, which will be held April 23.
