Crystal Lake City Council to consider Kensington subdivision annexation agreement

The Crystal Lake City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Crystal Lake City Council is comprised of the mayor and six council members who provide leadership for Crystal Lake by envisioning and setting the city’s direction and goals, establishing policies and passing laws involving matters that include finance and budgeting, community development and appearance and legal issues. Council meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of City Hall at 100 W. Woodstock St.

11. Aroma Coffee & Wine House, 77 E. Woodstock St. – City Code Amendment to increase the number of Class “3” liquor licenses.

18. Resolution authorizing the execution of a contractual agreement with the Illinois Department of Revenue to enable the Crystal Lake Police Department to participate in the fiscal year 2017 Tobacco Enforcement Program.

22. Bid award and resolution authorizing the execution of a service contract with Conpenhaver Construction Inc. for trench drain, grate and catch basin installation.

23. Bid award and resolution authorizing the execution of a contract with Detroit Salt Co. for untreated road salt and Compass Minerals America Inc. for treated road salt for 2016/2017 with the option for a second year.
