McHenry County zoning board reclassifies agriculture district

The McHenry County Zoning Board of Appeals met Jan. 5 to reclassify the agriculture district.

Reclassification from the A-1 Agriculture District to the R-1 Single-Family Residential District with Variations 1) to allow a lot size of .46 acres instead of the minimum .50 acres required, 2) to allow zero (0) feet of road frontage instead of the minimum one hundred (100) feet required, 3) to allow a setback of six point zero four (6.04) feet from the west property line instead of the minimum twenty (20) feet required, and 4) to allow a setback of eighteen point thirty-two (18.32) feet from the north property line instead of the minimum twenty (20) feet required.
