McHenry women's basketball team calls for an assist

The McHenry County College (MCC) women's basketball program is looking for an assistant coach, who will be required to attend all games and practices, the school has announced on its website.

Recruiting assistance is mandatory, but while previous coaching experience at the high school or college level is preferred, it is not required.

The Scots went 15-14 and finished third in the Illinois Skyway Conference with an 8-4 record. last season. MCC finished fifth or better in the conference the last three seasons, with a 7-7 record or better in league play. Four Scots received all-conference honors last year: Quixmia Washington made the first team, while Kristy Darling, Kaleigh Johnson and Makenna Powell made the second team. Washington was also named to the All-Region IV first team.
