Analysis: Huntley pays $1.91 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Huntley Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 65.2 percent of the $1,464,324 the Huntley Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $1.91 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Huntley contributed $955,414 to the fund, which saw a $216,087 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $499,515, or 34.1 percent, in 2016. Another $9,395 came from other unspecified sources.
