City of Crystal Lake Planning & Zoning Commission met May 16.

Here is the agenda provided by the Commission:

1. Approve Minutes of the May 2, 2018 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting.

2. Howard – 233 Edgewater – Public Hearing

The petitioner is requesting to be continued to the June 6, 2018 PZC meeting.

3. 2018-21 True North (IEREMCIUC) – 460 Coventry Ln. - Public Hearing

This petition was continued from the May 2, 2018 PZC meeting.

Comprehensive Land Use Amendment from Office to High Density Residential; Rezoning from O Office to R-3B PUD Multi-Family Residential; and Preliminary and Final PUD for a multifamily development to create 17 apartment units in the existing building.

4. 2018-17 Menards – 800 COG Circle – Public Hearing

Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment from Commerce to Industry; Rezoning from B-2 PUD to M PUD Manufacturing; Final Planned Unit Development Amendment for a storage facility; Special Use Permit for Self-Storage / Mini-Warehousing and outside storage; and Variation from the 75 square feet maximum permitted signage per façade to allow 129 square feet of signage per façade, a variation of 54 square feet.

5. Report From Planning

- TJ Maxx (Crystal Point SC) – 5764 Northwest Hwy – Final PUD Amendment for signage and façade changes.

- Crystal Terrace – 402 Federal Dr – Preliminary PUD for an office building
