Cary Park District recently issued the following announcement.

June 2

Swim Lesson Open House

This is the perfect chance to learn about the swim lesson program, meet the instructors and take a swim test. The Open House is from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.

June 5 

The pool will close at 4:00 pm for a Cary Barracuda swim meet.

June 6

What’s in Your Beach Bag? This fun game will have you digging and searching in your beach bag for all the items listed outside of the pool office. The three people who have the most items each day will win a prize. Join us from 3:00 – 4:00 pm for What’s in Your Beach Bag.

June 8

Splash into Summer Open House from 11:30 am – 6:00 pm. Play games, enter raffles, and win prizes during the Open House. There will also be a DJ from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. FREE admission during the Open House.

June 13

What’s in Your Beach Bag?  This fun game will have you digging and searching in your beach bag for all the items listed outside of the pool office. The three people who have the most items each day will win a prize. Join us from 3:00 – 4:00 pm for What’s in Your Beach Bag.

June 15

Fun Friday  12:00 – 4:00 pm. In celebration of the pools 40th anniversary we have planned two months of Friday Fun. Join us today to see what awaits! Plus, a DJ will be here from 12:00 – 4:00 pm to play your favorite music.

June 16

Inner Tube Water Polo Game Come out for a game of water polo! By floating in an inter tube, players experience less contact and expend less energy. Join us from 10:15 – 10:45 am. Registration is $10 (n/r $15) to play. Register now

June 19  

The pool will close at 4:00 pm for a Cary Barracuda swim meet.

Plus, a DJ will be here from 12:00 – 4:00 pm to play your favorite music. Pool pass holders also receive free popcorn at the pool concession stand today. Be sure to show your 2018 pool pass to receive your free popcorn!

June 26

June 28

The three people who have the most items each day will win a prize. Join us from 3:00 – 4:00 pm for What’s in Your Beach Bag.  Pass Holder Only Swim Night 7:00-9:30 pm. The pool will be open to 2018 season pass holders only, plus the pool will be open for an extra half hour of fun.

Learn to Swim This Summer!

Whether you would like your child to feel comfortable in and around water, learn the primary skills and strokes, or refine the key strokes, we have a swim program for him or her. If you are a 2018 season pool pass holder you may receive $5 off semi-private and $10 off private swim lessons. Register at the Community Center to receive your discount. Register now

  • Ages 6 months – adults
  • Private, semi-private, and group lessons
  • Weekday and weekend lessons
  • Lessons taught by American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards
  • Diving, Water Polo, and Lifeguarding classes
