Village of Cary issued the following announcement on July 26.
Starting in August, ComEd will begin performing regularly scheduled vegetation management. Residents may see trees being trimmed throughout town by a third party vendor.
The areas where trimming will occur will be largely in transmission corridors.
These are the areas with the large steel poles or tower structures used to transport large volumes of electricity.
To ensure safety, ComEd will have supervisors out to inspect work.
