Richmond-Burton Community High School District 157 students suspended 9 times in a single school year

Richmond-Burton Community High School District 157 reported nine suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 9 students during the year. That equates to 1.2 percent of the 727 students enrolled.

The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes five incidents. For two incidents, students were suspended for 5-10 days.
