Report: Harrison spent $12,657 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Harrison School District 36 is up 7.1 percent from five years ago, according to a McHenry Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Mchenry County school district spent $11,816 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,657 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 440 to 395.

Harrison's spending in 2017-18 was 5.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
