The price of local government in 2016: Village of Hebron

The Village of Hebron budget was $2.84 million for its 2016 fiscal year, or $6,724 per household.

That's an increase of 14.9 percent from 2015, when the village spent $2.47 million, or $5,854 per household.

Hebron has 422 households and a population of 1,038.

Since 2001, the Village of Hebron budget has grown by 56.7 percent, from $1.81 million. The village population has remained same.

Salaries accounted for 9.4 percent of village spending in 2016. Hebron property taxpayers paid $266,614 for two full-time employees and 25 part-time employees.

In 2001, the village had six full-time employees and eight part-time employees, and spent $485,941.
