Woodstock home prices fall in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Woodstock fell by $4,250 while total sales increased by 18.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 147 homes sold, with a median sale price of $170,000 - a 2.4% decrease over the $174,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 124 homes sold in Woodstock in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Woodstock for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,659.80, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
