9. Purchase of Fleet Pickup and Street Dump Truck – Surplus Ordinance (144i)
A. Authorization to purchase a 2020 F-350 Ford pickup truck with a service body through the Suburban Purchasing Contract from Roesch Ford, Bensenville, IL for a total price of $52,065.
B. Authorization to purchase a 2020 F-550 Ford dump truck through the Suburban Purchasing Contract with the Ford chassis and cab supplied by Sutton Ford, Matteson and the upfit (snow fighter package) provided and installed by Bonnell Industries, Dixon, IL for a total price of $93,333.
C. Approval of an Ordinance designating certain vehicles as surplus property and authorizing and directing the City Manager to dispose of said property as allowed by law, including but not limited to sale to the highest bidder on www.GovDeals.com, recycling, donation, and/or disposal. DOC. 6
10. Contract – Snow Hauling (144j) Authorization to waive the requirement for competitive bids and award of a contract to Bell Cartage Corporation, Elgin, IL for downtown snow hauling services at the unit prices as submitted.
11. 2020 Street Resurfacing Program (144k) Approval by City Council for the proposal submitted by Hampton, Lenzini & Renwick Inc. to provide engineering services for the 2020 Street Resurfacing Program be approved for an amount not to exceed $947,040
12. Waiver of Competitive Bids – First Street Water Treatment Plant Ceiling Removal (144l) Approval to waive the requirement for competitive bids and award a contract to Manusos General Contracting Inc., Fox Lake, IL for an amount not-to-exceed $22,400 to remove the ceiling in the filter room at the First Street Water Treatment Plant to expose the underside of the roof for inspection.
13. Resolution – Change Order #1 & #2, Opera House (144m) Authorization to approve Change Order No. 1 and Final Change Order No. 2 associated with the Opera House South Roof Replacement project, resulting in an increase of $16,080 to the original contract amount awarded to L. Marshall Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc., Glenview, IL. DOC. 7
14. Purchase – Roundabout Easement, South, Lake and Madison (144n) Approval for the acquisition of 0.019 acres of land, 0.008 acres of permanent easement and.017 acres of temporary construction easement for Parcel 0001 for a total cost of $17,000, authorizing the City Administration to complete all necessary documents and any associated actions required to complete this property transfer.
15. Award of Bid - Removal of Tanks, 830 Lake Avenue (144o) Approval to award the bid to Stiles Inc. of Loves Park, IL, in the amount not to exceed $19,762 for Underground Tank Removal at 830 Lake Avenue.
16. Transmittal of Fiscal Year 18/19 Audit (144p) Acceptance of the transmittal of the audited financial statements for the City’s 2018/2019 fiscal year, presented by the Finance Department and audited by Sikich, LLP.
