2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60042?

There were two offenders released on parole during 2019 that live near Illinois zip code 60042, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by McHenry Times.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Island Lake zip code were men. The younger parolee was a 36-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the other was a 64-year-old man convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2015.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was James Weeden. He was convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2015, when he was 64 years old. He is now 69.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
