Analysis: McHenry pays $0 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Mchenry Township Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 0 percent of the $43,133 the Mchenry Township Firefighters Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $0 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, McHenry contributed $0 to the fund, which saw a $1,658 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $44,280, or 102.7 percent, in 2018.
