AGGRAVATED DOMESTIC BATTERY - UPDATE

On 01-01-22 at 0124 hrs, Harvard Police responded to a residence in the 200 blk S Jefferson St regarding a 911 hang-up regarding an unknown injury where it was reported a person was bleeding.

Upon arrival of officers a Harvard Resident (m-25 yoa) was located in the residence with a severe laceration to his leg. Officers provided immediate medical care until the arrival of Harvard Fire Protection District Personnel at which time emergency care was turned over to them. The male was subsequently transported to the hospital and remains in stable condition.

On 01-12-22 at approximately 1318 hrs, Juan Esquivel (m-25 yoa), 205 S Jefferson St, Harvard was arrested on a McHenry County Warrant for one count Domestic Battery - Bodily Harm, one count Domestic Battery - Physical Contact and one count of Aggravated Domestic Battery - Strangulation that stemmed from this incident. Esquivel was transported to the McHenry County Jail in lieu of bond.

UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD

On 01-05-22 at 1419 hrs, a Harvard Resident (f-39 yoa) reported and unknown person(s) had used her credit card online to make a purchase without her permission. Under Investigation

WARRANT ARREST

On 01-06-22 at 1848 hrs, Robert C O'Rourke (m-66 yoa), 600 S Howard St Apt 101, Harvard was arrested on a McHenry County Failure to Appear warrant for a previous Driving While License Revoked charge. O'Rourke posted $1,000.00 bond and was released with a court date of 01-25-22 at 0900 hrs.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

On 01-09-22 at 0528 hrs, a Harvard Resident (m-22 yoa), reported an unknown person(s) damaged all the windows on his 2002 Chevrolet while it was parked in the 200 blk Lincoln St sometime overnight.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

On 01-11-22 at 1903 hrs, Frank A Hernandez (m-31 yoa), 14411 Kishwaukee Valley Rd, Woodstock, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended after he was stopped for equipment violations on his 2006 Pontiac at the intersection of S Division St and Airport Rd. Hernandez was issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended, Loud Muffler, Failure to Yield Stop Intersection and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Hernandez posted $250.00 bond and was released with a court date of 02-16-22 at 1330 hrs.

THEFT

On 01-12-22 at 1605 hrs, a Harvard Resident (m-32 yoa), reported an unknown person(s) took an Amazon Package outside his residence in the 1400 blk Northfield Ct earlier in the day.

NO VALID DRIVERS LICENSE / WARRANT ARREST

On 01-14-22 at 1711 hrs, Onesimo Valdez-Hernandez (m-46 yoa), 102 E Washington St, Harvard was arrested for No Valid Driver's License after he was stopped for an equipment violation on the 1997 Ford he was driving near the intersection of S Division St and South Park Ave. Valdez-Hernandez was also arrested on a McHenry County Warrant for Domestic Battery. Valdez-Hernandez was issued a citation for Driving without Registration Light, No Valid Driver's License, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle and Improper Auxiliary Lighting. Valdez-Hernandez was transported to the McHenry County Jail in lieu of bond.
