HOLIDAY BREAK CAMPS FOR YOUTH AND TEENS

The Crystal Lake Park District has opportunities to keep the kids active and engaged during Thanksgiving and Christmas Break. Register now to reserve their spot in Winter Break Volleyball Camp, Hot Shot Sports Total Sports Camp or Chess Scholars School Break Camp. Winter Volleyball Camp

Join us for a special holiday volleyball camp session taught and directed by EVP Volleyball Pros. The 4-day camp will concentrate on the fundamentals of passing, setting, spiking and overhand serve. The lesson plan directs the use of self-mastery training that helps each student reach a new level. The knowledge of the instructors will give the participants a head start on their skills in preparation for the Volley Club team play.

Hot Shot Sports Total Sports Camp

Ages 5-10

This camp focuses on a variety of sports including flag football, basketball, baseball, kickball, soccer, capture the flag and other group games. Each day campers focus on skill development and fundamentals for each respective sport, followed by game play. Coaches ensure a fun and energetic atmosphere while promoting teamwork and good sportsmanship. Campers should bring a snack and water each day.

Chess Scholars School Break Camp

Ages 6-12

Develop your child's intellect through the royal game of Chess! This half-day camp is perfect for beginners as well as experienced players. Each day of camp will consist of a fun interactive teaching period, followed by guided practice time, allowing the students to play against one another while being coached by an experienced instructor. The camp session will conclude with a non-elimination tournament. Please bring your own snacks. No peanut products please!
