Village of Fox River Grove Village Board met April 4

Public Comment 

The Board will accept public comment on items included on the meeting agenda or of a general nature. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. 

Village President and Trustee Reports (Parks; Planning & Zoning; Special Events) Board members have the opportunity to report on any topic during the public meeting. 

1. Approval: Consent Agenda – Approval via One Vote for All

All matters listed under Item 1, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. If a separate discussion is desired, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately. 

A. Village Board Meeting Minutes – March 21, 2023

The Board will consider the approval of previous meeting minutes. 

B. Accounts Payable – April 4, 2023

The Board will consider the payment of bills. 

C. Ordinance 2023-02, Surplus Property

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance to dispose of Public Works vehicles that are no longer used. 

D. Resolution 2023-03, TIF #2 Extension

The Board will consider the approval of a resolution confirming the Village’s intent to extend Downtown TIF District #2. 

2. Public Hearing: Fiscal Year 2023/24 Budget

Per the Village Code, a public hearing for the budget is required before its final approval. 

3. Approval: Ordinance 2023-03, Special Events Commission

The Board will consider the approval of ordinance that would adjust the structure of the Special Events Commission. 

4. Discussion: Water / Sewer Rate Options

The Board will consider multiple options for water / sewer rates for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins on May 1.
