Summer Curtis, Soccer Player | University Of Wisconsin-Whitewater atheletics
Summer Curtis, a Special Education MSE major from Cary, Illinois, was named to the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) First Team for her performance during the 2025 season. Curtis transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for her final collegiate season and led the women's soccer team in goals with seven, adding one assist for a total of 15 points.
Two other UW-Whitewater players also received conference honors. Brooklynn Carlson from Crystal Lake, Illinois, earned an Honorable Mention. She was second on the team in scoring with six goals and two assists over 19 games and accumulated 740 minutes as a forward.
Anna Gunderson from Mukwonago, Wisconsin, also received an Honorable Mention. As a defender, Gunderson started all 20 games this season and played more than 1,600 minutes. She led the team in assists with three and scored one goal against Coe College earlier in the year.
The Warhawks finished their season with an overall record of 8-7-5, marking their highest number of wins since 2022.
