More than 7,000 students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln have been named to the Deans’ List for the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Requirements for inclusion on the Deans’ List differ among the university’s eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Each college sets its own minimum grade-point average (GPA) and graded semester hour requirements, with all GPAs based on a four-point scale. Students may be recognized by more than one college if they meet multiple criteria.

The minimum GPA requirements and deans for each college are as follows: College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, 3.75; Interim Dean Thomas Burkey. College of Architecture, 3.75; Dean Kevin G. Van Den Wymelenberg. College of Arts and Sciences, 3.7; Interim Dean Patrick Dussault. College of Business, 3.6; Dean Kathy Farrell. College of Education and Human Sciences, 3.75; Dean Jeff Reese. College of Engineering, 3.7; Dean Lance C. Perez. College of Journalism and Mass Communications, 3.7; Interim Dean Adam Wagler. Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, 3.7; Dean Andy Belser. Explore Center for undeclared, pre-engineering, pre-health and pre-law students, 3.6; Senior Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Undergraduate Education Amy Goodburn.

Some students may appear on the list under more than one college or major due to their academic pursuits in multiple areas.

Examples from Crystal Lake include Benjamin Siegmeier (senior), recognized in the College of Business for management and marketing; Paige Coreen Bredemeier (sophomore), recognized in the College of Architecture for interior design; and Dianne Evonne Salvi (sophomore), recognized in the College of Arts and Sciences for biological sciences.
