UW-Whitewater gymnasts earn All-America honors at national championship

Paige Magel, a marketing major from Cary, Illinois, is one of three University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnasts who received All-America honors for their performances at the 2026 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Championship held on March 20 in Cortland, New York.

Magel contributed to the Warhawks’ fifth-place finish at the national meet with a team score of 192.475. Competing first on the uneven bars, Magel earned an All-America honor by scoring 9.8 and tying for seventh place.

Later in the competition, Juliette Rider from San Antonio, Texas, and Elaine Copeland from Arlington, Texas, also secured All-America recognition. Both athletes scored 9.825 on the floor exercise to share seventh place.
