The Village of Lake in the Hills' board of trustees will hold its monthly public meeting at 7:30 p.m. today beginning with a call to order and audience participation session.
Those present are invited to comment on any matters of public concern to residents that are not otherwise included in the agenda. Comments are limited to no more than 5 minutes. Questions or personal comments about village staff, board members or the president are not considered appropriate for the commentary portion of the meeting.
Staff presentations will consist of administrative lease agreement matters regarding two properties followed by presentations by the chief of police, director of community development, the village engineer, as well as the respective directors of parks and recreation, public works and finance. Representatives from various organizations and developers also will have a chance to update the village board.
The village's director of Community Development will discuss economic incentive policy amendments, business relating to a water main easement and other ordinances.
Public works business involves water main, road construction, surplus property and aviation concerns, as well as financial matters related to an annual report, tax levy estimation and auditing services for the village.
Six members of the board will present reports, including liaison findings.
The board's president also will make an address, followed by a second period of audience participation and adjournment.
The meeting will be held at 600 Harvest Gate.
