Richmond Finance Committee discusses auditing services, vehicle insurance

Finance

The Richmond Village Board Finance Committee recently released the minutes of its Nov. 17 meeting.

Village Clerk Karla Thomas said the insurance broker confirmed that workers' compensation clerical wages were not included in sewer or water wages, and rising the insurance deductible for vehicles from  $1,000 to $2,500 would not save the village money.

New business included included four request for proposals for auditing services, but the committee decided to remain with the auditing firm they currently use. The recommendation would be submitted to the board.

The Finance Committee also asked that the Septic Receiving Report should give the last three months of figures and then compare it to the last three years.
