Algonquin fills vacancy on Public Arts Commission

The Algonquin Village Board voted to appoint Collin Wood Perdew to serve on the Public Arts Commission during its Nov. 17 meeting.

Perdew will serve the remainder of the term that will run until  May 2017.

Village trustees also heard a complaint from resident James Ranallo about the no right turn on red sign at South Harrison and Algonquin Road. Ranallo said he has to deliver at 3 a.m. and has to sit at the light for several minutes, despite there being no traffic.  Ranallo was told to be patient while the police department reviews traffic flow.
